Senior Specialist Business Intelligence

We are seeking qualified BI Specialists to build and verify new data models that will help in decision-making. 
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business analytics dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies, such as the Azure suite of technologies, SQL, Power BI, etc., as well as develop both physical and logical data models.
On top of it, we expect you to take a leading role in evaluating new data warehouse applications, architecture, and technology choices, and maintain plus develop various database scripts and tools to facilitate automation process.


Your Job

  • Analyse all data warehouse architecture goals and identify skill requirement for same
  • Prepare design for all metadata according to various ETL processes.
  • Perform troubleshoot on all ETL processes and resolve issues effectively.
  • Define meta data standards for the data warehouse.
  • Develop various ETL processes and prepare OLAP cubes (probably in the future).
  • Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design, and more.
  • Designs and implements highly scalable ETL processes with complex data transformations and data formats including error handling and monitoring.
  • Maintains and supports the data model by implementing and managing strategies for tuning and optimization for stability and performance.
  • Convert raw data into meaningful analysis with the help of interactive, easy-to-understand dashboards and reports.
  • Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications.
  • Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions.

    • DAX
    • DevOps
      • Releases
      • Pipelines
    • Microsoft Azure Ecosystem
      • Azure SQL
      • Synapse
      • Familiarity with Fabric
      • SQL DW
      • Data Factory
      • Azure Data Lake
  • Expertise connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence

Desiderable skills:

  • Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries
  • Sincerity and assertiveness are highly valued.
