Specialist Group Controller
What role will you play?
- Set up of monthly management reportings and preparation of KPI, plan/actual comparison and ad hoc analyses for management purposes
- Preparation of monthly actual-to-budget analyses for management purposes and reporting
- Monitoring and validation of the affiliates’ financial reportings to the parent company
- Support annual budget cycle and analyses on group level
- Maintain master data and ensure clarity
- Create reports with the help of database queries, convert data and administrate the corresponding databases.
- Assist in processing long term corporate planning and forecasting analyses
- Constantly review internal processes and procedures and proactively recommend improvements and assist in implementing them
- Support and challenge business representatives based on financial analysis
- Contribute, establish, and further develop guidelines, methods, processes, and systems for controlling topics
- Close cooperation with business unit and projects heads as well as foreign affiliates
About you:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or relevant
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in an international environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and continuously changing business environment
- Exceptional analytical skills and excellent Excel modelling knowledge
- Proactive, solution-oriented problem solver
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization, including individuals outside of the finance function, across multiple time zones with a clear communication style
- High standards for the quality of your own work results
- Agile thinker and a team player
- Fluent in English; German language skills would be a plus;
- Knowledge on Lucanet, Salesforce, PowerBI, Microsoft Dynamics etc. is a plus
