Your privacy is safe with us

Our company, PharmaLex GmbH and its associated entities is particularly concerned about data protection. Therefore, your data will only be processed in compliance with the legal data protection regulations.

We collect and process your personal data in order to carry out the selection process for the advertised position. Your provided data will be processed for the processing of your application and, if an employment relationship is established, also for the execution of the employment relationship. They are not processed for any other purpose.

Personal data are all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as "data subject"). We collect and process the following personal data:

Surname, first name, home address, telephone number, e-mail address, curriculum vitae, qualifications, job references.

The personal data mentioned above will be processed for the following purposes:
  • Contract initiation including identification and communication with you, e.g. to process your enquiries; invitation to an interview, rejection
  • Settlement of legal disputes and also for asserting, exercising and defending legal claims.
The processing of personal data is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (1) (b) and (f) of the Basic Data Protection Regulation.

The data that you transmit to us will be treated confidentially. Application documents are only made available in our company to those persons who are directly involved in filling the vacancy. Applications that could  also to be used for other positions are  forwarded within the group to the positions for which the applications are also intended. You can revoke the passing on of your documents and the further processing at any time. In the event of a revocation, your documents and personal data can no longer be considered for the current application procedure.

We transfer your personal data to courts, tax authorities, supervisory authorities, insofar as this is legally permissible and necessary in order to comply with applicable law or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. However, we take all measures to ensure appropriate guarantees for the protection of your personal data.
 
As long as no legal regulations prescribe a passing on to third parties or the passing on to third parties is not necessary for contractual reasons (travel bookings) or in your interest, no personal data will be passed on to third parties. Third parties are persons or bodies outside our company who do not process personal data on our instructions.

In case of a transfer to recipients in third countries (outside the EU/EEA), the transfer will only take place if the EU Commission has determined an appropriate level of data protection for this third country or if we have agreed appropriate contractual guarantees with the recipient to ensure an appropriate level of data protection.

The technical environment of the applicant portal is provided and operated by an external service provider called rexx systems GmbH. Access to your data by the external service provider is neither possible nor intended. Irrespective of this, the service provider is obliged to comply with applicable data protection regulations.

If an employment contract is concluded between us and you, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If no employment contract is concluded with you, your application documents will be automatically deleted six months after the announcement of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests of our company stand in the way of deletion. Any other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, the burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Rights of persons affected: right to information, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, right of objection and right to data transferability

Upon request, we will inform you in writing in accordance with applicable law whether and which personal data about you is stored by us. If, despite our efforts to ensure data security and accuracy, incorrect information is stored, we will correct it at your request.

In addition, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of personal data. You may also request that the data you have provided to us be in a structured, common and machine-readable format. You can also object to the processing of your personal data by us.

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, provided there are no legal retention periods to the contrary.

If you have consented to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.
By revoking this consent, data processing for the past will not become unlawful.
